Cheese in Ireland

Come with us to discover the Emerald Isle and all the amazing cheeses Ireland has to offer!  We will create a journey for a week or a long weekend to visit the very best of this countries cheese makers.  This journey starts in Dublin and then off to a day at Ireland’s most amazing cheese purveyors – Sheridan’s.

We will then journey to Cork and take a cooking class at the world famous Ballymaloe Cooking School.  Then we are off to make cheese with Mary Burns at Ardrahan in County Cork or go with us to visit the many great cheesemakers around the country – the Willems at Coolea Farmhouse, Cooleeney Dingle Penisula, Jeffa Gill at Durrus Farmhouse, the Ferguson Family at Gubeen Farmhouse, Marion Roelevald at Killeen’s,  StTola’s Inagh Farmhouse.  So many cheeses, so many amazing people making it!

We will stay in some of the great Irish Country houses, sample the amzing Irish hospitality and discover the best of Irish products and cooking.
